Cedar Park Rainforest Resort

Welcome to Paradise

Gothic Suites

Cedar Park offers intimate boutique accommodation in six large suites at our gothic style lodge. Each suite has a verandah where you may listen to the sounds of the rainforest while looking out onto endless shades of green. You normally see wallabies, peacocks and a wide variety of bird life.

The resort’s ten acres is dotted with hammocks so you can find a cozy, private corner to have a nap, read a book or fit two inside and have an intimate discussion. Indoor and outdoor games are freely available.

The creek running around Cedar Park borders national park made up of rainforest. You may have a swim or take a well marked 3 kilometer (2 mile) hike through the park starting and ending at our resort.

The Restaurant at Cedar Park is situated in a cool, covered, open air deck overlooking the rainforest and national park. You may enjoy dinner in the restaurant which offers casual dining. The fare is mainly quality Australian, with some Asian style offerings.

Your accommodation includes continental buffet breakfast in the surrounds of nature. Breakfast is available from 8:30am to 9:30am. If you have an early start, ask us to pack you a takeaway bag when you check in.

As we strive to offer guests a peaceful environment in which to unwind, Cedar Park Resort’s accommodation is not suitable for children under 10 years of age. In some cases with a family group we can make an exception, but it must be approved in advance.

Be aware we have no television in the rooms. Nor is there any mobile phone reception (closest is where you turn off the Kennedy Highway). Most guests enjoy a break from life’s information overload and take advantage of the time to relax without technology. You are welcome to use our landline phone to make calls free of charge.

Free internet access is offered via a satellite connection which is slow but steady. We give each room a card which is good for 100 megabytes of internet access per day.
